JOIN US FOR HOLY EUCHARIST (OR COMMUNION) at 10:30 a.m. EVERY SUNDAY!

We welcome you to join us for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Children’s Chapel and Nursery Care are provided.  Our worship is joyful, celebratory and upbeat, because of our belief in Christ’s resurrection from the dead.  There is a piano prelude that begins at 10:15 a.m., as we share fellowship and welcome our guests.  Our weekly announcements begin at 10:25 a.m.  Our worship service begins with a moment of Holy Silence at 10:30 a.m.  At this service, we alternate singing from three, beloved, Episcopal hymnals: our traditional hymnal, our African-American hymnal, and our praise and worship hymnal.  The service includes four readings from scripture: 2 lessons from the Old or New Testament, a Psalm and the Holy Gospel.  Lay people participate in every aspect of the worship: welcoming guests by handing out gift bags of information and mini-loaves of bread, reading the scriptures, leading the prayers, bringing the offerings of bread and wine to the table, collecting monetary tithes and offerings, providing technological help to the worshippers (by placing the words to songs and prayers on three screens on the walls), and much, much more.  Every Sunday we invite the congregation to remain after worship for at least a half hour (from 11:30 - 12:00 Noon), to share conversation and refreshments.  This is a great time for making friends.  As you get connected, you’ll see how rich it is to be part of our community of faith!

EVENING PRAYER EVERY WEDNESDAY at 6:00 p.m.

Our Episcopal tradition includes praying the Daily Office, which includes prayers four times a day: morning, noon, evening and just before bed-time.  So we invite you to come once a week and join us for a traditional service of Evening Prayer.  This is a beautiful, spoken service that takes about 30 minutes.  It includes two, contemplative periods of silence (2 minutes each), in which God oftentimes speaks into the midst of our stillness.  At this service, we pray by name for each person who has requested our prayers.

OUR LOCATION

All regular services occur in our temporary space for worship and community service; it is located at 4603 John Garry Drive, Suites 5 & 6, Columbia, MO, 65203.  This location is in south Columbia, south and west of Rockbridge High School. Come, participate, and become involved with our congregation. All are welcome!

We are currently building our congregation in a store front worship space, prior to moving to our eight acres of land on the corner of Nifong and Bethel.  You may find specific directions on this website by clicking on “Directions” at the top of this page.  We are located in a shopping center just south and a little west of Rockbridge High School; we’re in the same building that houses “It’s a Grind” coffee shop, Chick’s BBQ, and Bella Salon.  As you drive in on Southampton, you will see an “Episcopal Church Welcomes You” sign very similar to this one.  Follow the directional arrow on our sign!
